OUR STORY
Project Planet was Born

A brief history of the impact we've made as Project Planet ID!

PROJECT PLANET WAS BORN

February 2020

On 12 February 2020, Project Planet was born! With our newly established platform, we started sharing information, news, and activities related to environmental and social issues.

We share current issues in our Blogs and News page, raise awareness about environmental topics through our Social Media, and connect with like-minded individuals through Community Membership.

GREEN LIVING FESTIVAL

To celebrate the launch of our Green Living Project, we initiated a large-scale, online festival--The Green Living Festival! From live streams to film-screenings, workshops to webinars, we had a blast getting to know community members and speaking with various industry leaders. With the support of our community, we managed to raise IDR 24,609,058 for upcoming environmental projects!

LAUNCHING OUR SHOP

Our eco-products store aims to strike a balance between price, quality, and environmental impact. With our sustainability-related items, we hope to inspire conscious shopping habits!

ACQUIRING FUNDING FOR OUR FIRST CSR PROGRAM

May 2021

Our first CSR-funded project involves forest restoration in Sumatra. We were inspired by the urgency to protect the forest and rivers within the affected area, as deforestation has greatly increased the environmental impacts which could affect the rest of the province.

INITIATING GROUNDWORK ON FOREST CARBON PROJECT

We're on a mission that is broader than our environmental education programs. Climate Change has affected Indonesia in unprecedented ways, and now is the time to start focusing on low-carbon initiatives.

A selective group of Project Planet Indonesia team members is working specifically on this initiative, and we are shifting our vision to include forest and biodiversity conservation. In order to make this initiative work, we have to connect and collaborate with our government and the surrounding communities.

We're constantly growing and improving Project Planet, and we hope you're here to join us throughout the process!
