To help slow down the spread of COVID-19, the Indonesian government has made it mandatory to wear cloth masks. Surgical and N95 masks are prioritized for health care workers and those who are sick.
Check out this very easy tutorial we made with Aakar Studios below!
We also made another tutorial with basic hand sewing (click here).
Materials & Equipment:
Old shirt
Scissors
Steps:
Cut the sleeve of your old shirt
Open up the sleeve and flatten (the smaller side will be the one that touches your face, we'll refer it as the 'face side')
Fold edges by ~1cm
Make 5 short cuts (~0.5cm) along the folded edges. Cuts should be equally distanced
Cut and discard the edge of the other sleeve
Cut two rings from the sleeves, width of ~1cm
Cut the rings once to make it a strip
Insert the strip into the holes (in one hole, and out the other)
Tie the edges of the strips together
